Police on Wednesday have fired teargas at the Lekki tollgate protesters.

This led to chaos as some of the protesters ran helter-skelter to protect themselves.

The youths had converged on the Lekki tollgate to mark the first anniversary of #EndSARS in the country and in rememberance of the protesters killed.

Two protesters were arrested. one a journalist and the other a placard holder

About an average 30 police trucks and armed personnel are currently at the tollgate to enforce a ban on protests issued by the police command.
