Some presidential aspirants and other diginitatries, were hosted during Iftar dinner by the First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Some of the expected dignitaries were seen entering the venue of the event as at 6:20pm. The dinner was slated to take off by 6:30 pm and was strictly under invitation.

Mrs. Aisha Buhari had invited all presidential aspirants, across all political parties, to the Ramadan Iftar, she also invited other elected officials of parties.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi; Mallam Nasir El-Rufa’i of Kaduna; Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi were among the presidential aspirants attending the event.

Senator Chris Ngige (Minister of Labour and Employment); Godswill Akpabio (Minister of Niger Delta Affairs); Chief Barnabas Gemade (one-time National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party); Yakubu Dogara (former Speaker of the House of Representatives); and Tein Jack-Rich (oil and gas mogul) were also in attendance.
