These Listing Guidelines (“Guidelines“) outline the standards and requirements for creating and managing product or service listings on www.ebukason.com (the “Platform”), operated by Idonline Services.
All sellers/Vendors must comply with these Guidelines, the [Seller Terms and Conditions], [Privacy Policy], and any other applicable policies when listing items on the Platform. Failure to adhere to these Guidelines may result in the removal of listings, account suspension, or other penalties.
 

General Requirements:

All listings on the Platform must:
  • Be accurate, complete, and truthful in their descriptions, images, pricing, and other details.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Be relevant to the Platform’s purpose and target audience.
  • Be posted in the correct category and subcategory to ensure easy discoverability.

Product/Service Eligibility:

Permitted Items: Sellers may list products or services that align with the Platform’s categories, such as [e.g., electronics, fashion, home goods, digital services, etc.]. All items must be:

  • Legally permitted for sale in the Seller’s jurisdiction and the customer’s jurisdiction.
  • Owned by the Seller or authorized for sale by the rights holder.
  • Safe, functional, and fit for their intended purpose.
Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited from being listed or sold on the Platform:
  • Illegal or regulated items (e.g., drugs, weapons, or hazardous materials).
  • Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized products.
  • Items that infringe on intellectual property rights (e.g., trademarks, copyrights, or patents).
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content, including items promoting hate speech or violence.
  • Used or damaged items unless clearly described as such in the listing.
  • Digital goods or services that violate software licensing agreements or terms of use.
Restricted Items: Certain items may require prior approval or additional documentation before listing, such as:
  • High-value items (e.g., exceeding [$1,000/Naira Equivalent]).
  • Items subject to specific regulations (e.g., food, cosmetics, or medical devices).
  • Custom or made-to-order products with unique fulfillment requirements.

Listing Content Requirements

Title:

  • Use clear, concise, and descriptive titles (e.g., “Brand X Men’s Leather Jacket, Size M, Black”).
  • Avoid keyword stuffing, excessive punctuation, or irrelevant terms.
  • Titles must be in [English or specify allowed languages] and not exceed [80 characters].

Description:

  • Provide a detailed and accurate description of the product or service, including:
    • Key features, specifications, and condition (new, used, refurbished, etc.).
    • Materials, dimensions, or other relevant attributes.
    • Any limitations, defects, or usage requirements.
  • Avoid vague or misleading claims (e.g., “cures all ailments” or “guaranteed results”).
  • Include any warranty or guarantee information, if applicable.

Images:

  • Upload high-quality, original images that accurately represent the item.
  • Use a minimum resolution of [e.g., 800×800 pixels] and a maximum file size of 3MB.
  • Include at least [1-3] images showing different angles, features, or uses.
  • Do not use watermarked, stock, or third-party images unless authorized.
  • Avoid images with text, logos, or promotional overlays unless approved.

Pricing:

  • Set clear and transparent prices, including any additional fees (e.g., shipping or handling).

  • Avoid deceptive pricing practices, such as inflating prices to offer fake discounts.

Inventory:

  • For custom or made-to-order items, clearly state production and delivery timelines.

Shipping Details:

  • Specify shipping methods, costs, and estimated delivery times.
  • List the regions/countries you ship to.
  • Provide tracking information for all shipped orders, where available.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations for your products (e.g., hazardous materials).

Language and Tone:

  • Use professional, respectful, and customer-friendly language.
  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
  • Listings must be written in [English or specify allowed languages].

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Product Safety: All products must meet safety standards and regulations in the Seller’s and customer’s jurisdictions (e.g., CE, FDA, or UL certifications where applicable).
 
Intellectual Property: Sellers must own or have permission to use all content in their listings, including images, descriptions, and trademarks. Listings that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights will be removed, and repeat violations may lead to account termination.
 
Consumer Protection: Listings must comply with consumer protection laws, including accurate advertising, clear refund/return policies, and fair business practices.
 
Taxes and Duties: Sellers are responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting any applicable taxes or duties, as outlined in the [Seller Terms and Conditions].
 
Prohibited Practices
Sellers must not:
  • Create duplicate listings for the same product or service.
  • Use misleading or manipulative tactics, such as fake reviews or inflated ratings.
  • Include external links, contact information, or offers to sell outside the Platform.
  • Engage in price gouging or unfair pricing practices.
  • Misrepresent the condition, origin, or authenticity of products.

Listing Review and Removal

Review Process: We reserve the right to review listings for compliance with these Guidelines. Listings may be rejected, edited, or removed if they violate these Guidelines or other Platform policies.
 
Removal Reasons: Listings may be removed for reasons including but not limited to:
  • Non-compliance with these Guidelines or applicable laws.
  • Customer complaints about accuracy, quality, or fulfillment.
  • Suspected fraud or misrepresentation.
  • Poor performance (e.g., frequent cancellations or delays).
Appeals: If your listing is removed, you may appeal the decision by contacting [support@ebukason.com  within [7 days] with supporting evidence.
 

Updates to Guidelines:

We may update these Guidelines at any time by posting the revised version on the Platform. Continued listing on the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Guidelines. We will notify Sellers of material changes via email or through their Seller account.
